MY STORY
With two older brothers Phil was always the person who had to go in goal. here comes his great passion for being a goalkeeper from. At the age of 4 he started playing and knew from the start he wanted to be a goalkeeper. From the age of 10 his life changed and his future became clear... He got an invite from PSV Eindhoven to come on trial.

From now on it wasn't just saving balls. No, it was giving everything, everyday, sacrifice everything for that one goal: Become a professional. From here it takes him to multiple countries, clubs in The Netherlands and even Italy and Sweden.

After one year at PSV he moves to TOP Oss. Here he get's an offer from NEC and NAC. His oldest brother plays at NAC Breda so this will be his next move too. Because playing at the same club as your brother is a dream that comes true. After 4 nice years and becoming multiple goalkeeper of tournaments his next step will be FC Den Bosch.
And after a while this will be the new club of his brother too. Back together at the same club makes it even more perfect. 4 years of feeling home, champions of the league and meeting teammates who become friends it's time to move on. Schijndel it is. which is being changed after a month for FC Eindhoven. What a change from academy football to first team. At the age of 18 it was now time to really become an adult. This was the year which shaped me as a player. Old habits where changed fast by older teammates and this was the year where "The Impossible is often the untried" becomes reality. Time to go bigger, better, faster and much more. After a trip to Thailand which was something I will never forget
I had to make my move to Brabantia. Getting game minutes in a first team, experience that was the goal. Fast it became clear that I had to move up again, I had to play on a higher level. Making my move to Gestel which was 1 step up, I still had a craving for higher. This would mean that at the end I had to change club again, this time on the last day of the transfer period I made my move to RKC Waalwijk.
Waiting 2 months for my clearance to come through I finally could play games on a professional level again. At the end of 2018 I got the news that I had to get a surgery on my knee. This would take me in the end 4 months to recover from. But 100% fit and more eager then ever to prove myself I made my way back into the team.

End of the season was fast and so I made sure I stayed into the prof. football world. 18 July I flew to Sardegna - Italy. What was a dream that came true changed fast into a nightmare. Not a single promise in the contract was being lived too. So my search for my place was once again on. After two weeks of waiting and hoping there was the releasing phonecall: Sweden it is.

Currently playing in Sweden, where I found my love for the game back. My level of play and progressing again.
One thing I want to make clear to everyone and please listen:
"The Impossible is often the Untried" keep trying, believing in yourself. Because you will get your chance, just keep on going. It does not matter how fast you move, as long as you keep moving forward.
